Home Sweet Home

After 8 months of traveling I'm finally home. At Hong Kong Airport I tried to submit my last story, but unfortunately my battery ran out and therefore only the first 2 lines got trough. Damn, it was such a funny story! In short it was about my time in Ubud where I've done some yoga and weird chakra healings and kirtan hare krishna chanting classes. Just to be clear, I ended up there by mistake!! The yoga was really good though and the other classes just made me laugh a lot. I've also done a great cooking course and checked out some of the scenery. I'm not a big fan of Bali, but I must say that they've got the best rice terraces I've seen so far! (And I've seen many)
Back in Kuta Bali had a nice, little good bye present for me, bed bugs...
In my very last hotel after 8 months of traveling I got given a bed with bed bugs. Can you believe it! I was bitten all over, hundreds and hundreds of bites, it was absolutely horrible. The itching was so bad that I had to buy myself a bottle of rum to knock myself out. Extreme measures for extreme situations. So my last few days on the beach were not as relaxt as I thought they would be, but on the other hand it made me wanna go home.
And home is where I am right now. The weather is lovely, a nice 25 degrees and sunny. I've stayed with my parents for a week and next week I'm going to Renesse (a beach town in the south west of Holland) to work in a restaurant over the summer months. I got accepted to the University of Amsterdam which means that from the end of August onwards I'll be studying again in Amsterdam for a year. I'm going to do a teacher training course in Art and Art History.
So guys, I'll be in Amsterdam for a whole year (no internships abroad unfortunately) in my beautiful appartment with a spare bed and a couch, so don't hesitate and come visit!!
